I typically just wear random things to bed like an old tshirt or one of the many pairs of Christmas pajamas my mom has bought me over the course of my life, but it's rare that I wear a cute matching set. So I was naturally thrilled when I got my pink cupcake set from Southward Apparel. This set makes me feel like I need to host a sleepover at my apartment with cupcakes, champagne, pillow fights, and obviously my best friend netflix. I put together an array of some of my favorite sets I found online. Enjoy!

Quebec City is December is LITERALLY how I imagine Christmas in my mind. I currently feel like I"m frolicking about in a Charles Dickens novel as I pass by every street corner. People are happy, there is snow on the ground, and Christmas decorations galore (and I'm basically staying in a Castle). Also the food so far has been amazing! I stopped by a cute little Maple Cafe and tried this hot milk concoction with maple butter and cinnamon and needless to say it was amazing. I'm absolutely going to be eating my way through this city... and counting down the hours until my scheduled food tour of the city! If you guys have any great recommendations for places to eat or things to see let me know!

I thought I was going to be much braver then I actually was in the cold when I got dressed in the morning. I paired my Forever 21 coat with a flannel and black sweater, a pair of waxed jeans, rain boots, and my new free people beanie obsession. I thought the coat would keep me warm enough outside and that I'd get really hot inside and take it off and stay warm with my flannel and sweater....false,false,false. Tomorrow I will probably opt for a parka.  Don't worry though I continued to make poor outfit decisions for dinner wearing a short black velvet dress and tights.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures of the city so far! Thousands more will come I'm sure. I get so excited around Christmas time guys, especially when there is SNOW and i'm in some sort of magic winter wonderland! 

Any tips on dressing for the cold?! I've only lived in warm places my entire life... I could clearly use some advice.

When your entire Instagram feed is of NYFW (and your not there), obviously the only solution is to head to a brunch with a make your own mimosa bar. I headed to Pearls Bar on Sunset in West Hollywood with my beautiful friend Julia for a little girls time. I've said now in previous posts that I'm very over  summer and summer clothes and sooo ready for fall, this is totally reflected in my outfit choice for brunch. I am in love with this sheer Alice & Olivia dress, it's cool enough to wear in this warm weather, but paired with my faux leather Forever 21 shorts and maroon Free People Bralette its perfect for the fall transition. When the weather starts to get cooler my favorite colors to wear are blacks, reds, and maroons (can anyone say vampy?).
